posed Spotify has a new feature called Enhance, which automatically optimizes playlists with recommended songs to match your existing music style and theme.
The feature helps in easily adding personalized recommendations to playlists.
For playlists, it can be hard to find tracks that match the tone or mood, the company said. Or you may be looking to expand your horizons and add new songs and artists.
For listeners who need some help adding tracks to a new or existing playlist, we offer Enhance.
The feature works with a new Enhance button that now appears at the top of playlists. And you can click on it to play it, which makes the platform’s algorithm automatically add recommended songs that it thinks fit your playlist.
Songs recommended by Enhance are marked with a bright green icon to indicate that they were not part of your original playlist. They can be added permanently by clicking on the + button that appears next to the song.
Spotify improves playlists with Enhance
Songs added through Enhance will not replace existing playlist songs. They can be removed easily by unchecking the Enhance button at the top of your playlist.
And you don’t have to worry about recommendations either, as the platform only adds a maximum of 30 songs, with the additions spaced out after every two tracks.
Enhanced playlists are available across both Android and iOS. It is set to roll out next month to Spotify Premium subscribers in 40 countries. Including the US, UK, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and a lot of Europe countries.
The platform notes that it plans to roll out the feature in other countries in the future. “Through Enhance, we help our listeners organize playlists through recommendations,” she said. And improvement continues to evolve as we learn more, so stay tuned for these updates in the future.
The company has added other playlist features in recent months, including Blend, a playlist that collects songs from your listening history and a friend’s songs.
It also added a curated Highlights playlist, which includes new tracks from top producers and songwriters.
