You can install the application on ARCH Linux distributions via the AUR package manager by following the command below:
sudo yay -Ss signal-desktop
To install the application on Manjaro distributions, use the following command directly via Pacman:
sudo pacman -Sy signal-desktop
In order to install the app on Fedora distributions, you need to use the Flatpak app store with the following command:
flatpak install flathub org.signal.Signal

After you have installed the package and the application on your computer, you need to use the application and log in to it.

You can log in and link the application to the phone via the following steps:
Run the application on the computer until you see a QR code in front of you.
Go to your phone and click on the application settings, then linked devices and then use the add button to show you the camera application.

Now check the code through the application until it recognizes the computer and asks you to confirm the connection of the new device, after which it asks you to enter the name of the new device.
When you have finished entering the name of the new device, press the End Link button, and you can find all the devices associated with your account in the list of associated devices in the application settings.
You can now use all the features of the platform through the computer application as if you were using it on your smartphone.
